FreePIE (Programmable Input Emulator) is a application for bridging and emulating input devices. It has applications primarily in video gaming but can also be used for VR interaction, remote control, and other applications. A typical application might be controlling the mouse in a PC game using a Wiimote. Device control schemes are customized for specific applications by executing scripts from the FreePIE GUI. The script language is based on the Python syntax and offers non-programmers an easy way to interface devices.

The software is designed to allow third party developers to add their own I/O plugins either through direct integration into the core library or through a separately compiled plugin mechanism.

hello i am a new freetrack user just got it setup and but when i launch a game that suports trackir it ask me to make a profile but the ingame tracking does not work.
games are from codemaster dirt 3 and f1 2013! can someone help!!!

Thank you for the response... I did see the list beforehand I know f100 2013 isn't on it but dirt 3 was... tried trackir fix but it didn't work on dirt 3 or f100 2013.. read somewhere that natural point was locking out free track.. is that true... If so is there another work arounda?

Things you can try:
1)Maybe you have already done this, turn off UAC(=user account control) and install the game and freetrack.
2)try an older version of Freetrack. Freetrack_V2.1.2
3) try facetracknoir.

You can use facetracknoir also with a pointtracker plugin so it works with ir-leds instead of face regognition, just like Freetrack.
4)your game has probably also a function to enable or diable or pausing Ir-tracking ingame.Your game creates a .ini file where it stores the settings for you game.It is called something like config.ini, you can open and change it with notepad.Search in it for something like : ; 0 - not use, 1 - use if hardware exist

In this case you see, I have track-ir enabled
5)check the key settings in freetrack at the control tab.
6)try different settings/functions at the output tab.
7)Eurotruck 2 has a demo you can download for free to try.I know for sure that it works with freetrack.If you try that game and freetrack works with it, you have probably freetrack configured right and it is probably something in your game.
I found videos on youtube of your game(dirt3) with freetrack so it should be possible to make it work.

thank you again for your help i have found a way to use my head head tracking but not with leds kind of gaveup on it! but i had a razor hydra laying around and have had better luck with it using opentrack thank you again for your time
